Piano benches, for one. I'm pretty sure I looked around after I got that piano in Arizona, to no avail. Somehow the benches tend to wander off without their pianos and get lost. I've been sitting on a makeshift surface while playing the piano here, but it just isn't quite right.

I tried on 7 pairs of pants at Goodwill, and hated something about every single pair.

They did have a Pyrex glass desiccator for sale, for $25. The non-vacuum style, but BIG. I decided I didn't want to deal with it so I didn't buy it.

Now, in this brief post-work time window, I can't work up the motivation to continue pants-hunting. I will probably resort to ordering pants on the internet instead. I was also going to try and work up motivation to visit the futon store where I want to buy tatami mats and a queen-size futon frame.

Buying beds is very much like buying bicycle saddles. You never quite know whether you're getting the right thing until you've had a chance to use it for a while, and by then it's kind of hard to return it if it doesn't work quite right. Also, in general it's not a good idea to buy them used, heh.

This morning, I was hoping to test-row the wooden Pocock single I hope to buy soon, but its current owner was out rowing it. So I let him know that I'll test-row it on Tuesday morning instead. It will come with its own set of responsibilities. The first and largest one is that I can't keep it at the boathouse, so I'll need to figure out transportation and storage.

I love that trailer!

Do you need a bench? Are you planning on duets? My mom has a piano stool that is just lovely and doesn't take up much space. https://www.chairish.com/product/332070/victorian-antique-adjustable-clawfoot-piano-stool?utm_campaign=Purchasing_Site_PLA_PLA_Shopping&utm_content=Stools&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_term=Victorian+Antique+Adjustable+Clawfoot+Piano+Stool&gclid=CjwKEAjwiru9BRDwyKmR08L3iS0SJABN8T4ve7eYVVOKGs0-nf46frwOBAJy2uIHOeu8LRevEvt2EBoCDt_w_wcB basically. I don't know that they're common either but I've seen them in antique stores, at least.

Boat-towing bicycle is totally the best! Also, oooh Pocock single. Supportive kind of envy. [grin]

Maybe try estate sales?

I had that thought, but at the moment I'm concluding time is more precious than money. There's also a website that sells new benches for $80, so that seems totally reasonable.
