Traffic cones and other ephemera

On my ride home from work on Wednesday, I encountered an obstacle while trying to cross over the bridge on Northern Ave that goes over the I-90 freeway. A lot of vehicles use that exit ramp and then have an interesting time making a sharp left turn onto Northern (it's not really that sharp). In the bike lane that travels in the opposite direction, I've had to stop and remove pieces of a crushed caulking gun from the bike lane (hazardous metal chunks!).

The obstacle this time was a tall stack of traffic cones. If I hadn't been in a hurry I would have been seriously tempted to do something silly with them.

The stack is still sitting on the sidewalk as of this morning.

I got elected to our rowing club's board on Wednesday. Yay, rowing politics!

I'm forgetting some other topic I wanted to blog about. Maybe I'll remember later.
