Office temperature update, for funsies

We have a whole bunch of heating pads of various types in the animal physiology lab, for various purposes.

One of them may or may not have found its way underneath my desk somehow.

It's probably good that the one that may or may not have found its way underneath my desk, is one that shuts off automatically after some period of time.

It's still routinely 16 °C (60 °F) in here.

I keep thinking about all the articles that point out how many things are designed/built around the physiology of the male body, because typical workplace thermostat settings fall into this category. Also, there's abundant evidence that work environments that are too hot or too cold can have a huge negative impact on productivity.
