A 36-cricket day

I injected 36 crickets today. It could have been my last day of injections for a while, except the crickets didn't cooperate. I can't use half of the data I collected, because the crickets were long-winged individuals that had already histolyzed their flight muscle.

But at least the problem isn't that I screwed something up.

And I fed apple cake to the undergraduates, and they were super appreciative.

I was afraid it got too dark, because I'm still figuring out oven temperatures on this oven, but the outer parts were DELICIOUS.

You should conduct time-course studies on the undergrads. How many stay how appreciative for how long? Do they respond the same to other sorts of food? And so on... :)

Hmm, I think the undergraduates would be willing participants in such an experiment!
